RTL Télé Lëtzebuerg, the only general-interest TV channel in Luxembourg, broadcasts local news through “De Journal” (daily news round-up), national information through “De Magazin” and various television shows such as “Famillenduell”, “No Art On Air”, “Live ! Planet People” and many more.
RTL.lu is Luxembourg’s most popular online media. The website specialises in local news, sports, culture, entertainment, video content as well as housing the TV and radio programs (Livestream and replay).
RTL Group is a leader across broadcast, content and digital, with interests in 67 television channels, ten streaming platforms and 38 radio stations. RTL Group also produces content throughout the world and owns a digital video network.
Broadcast
Today, RTL Télé Lëtzebuerg carries entertainment, magazine and news in Luxembourgish. Outside broadcasting hours, a live camera from the radio studio is broadcast, along with text news and traffic cameras.
Since the switch to digital terrestrial television which was implemented overnight on 1 September 2006, RTL Télé Lëtzebuerg and den 2ten RTL share channel 27, M6 is on channel 7, and RTL TVI, Club RTL, Plug TV and the three Dutch channels are on channel 24.
